Introducing her newest line of work, called the “Patiala Portraits,” where Masaba Gupta casted Kareena Kapoor Khan in the role of the Masaba Bride. Masaba Gupta’s Patiala Portraits Collection ft. Kareena Kapoor Khan

With a sense of royalty and an ode to India’s regal history, “Patiala Portraits” draws inspiration from the rich tapestry and seamlessly incorporates modern designs. With dori, sitara, and moti kaam—the bittersweet hope of a fresh start—it’s an opulent tale. It’s for the contemporary woman who honours her heritage while not hesitating to take charge of her identity and speak up.

Styled in a very real world for a woman who embraces the traditions while fearlessly forging into the future, “Patiala Portraits” is nothing short of a fairy tale. From double odhani lehengas and Patiala salwar sets to corset and tissue sarees, cape gowns, and skirts.

In collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment India, Masaba, Akshay, and IP created a custom soundtrack for the campaign called “Raanjhan Aaya.” It skilfully intertwines the collection notes into the lyrics, capturing the essence of a shaadi.

A few items from the collection will be made to order, and the rest will be sold online and at a few Masaba Bridal stores in India.

A traditional raw silk red lehenga with a tissue dupatta is the Red Bagh-E-Bahaar Lehenga. This traditional lehenga has a hand-embroidered “Son Chidiya” design, which symbolizes for progress and independence.

2. Stunning Son Chidiya Co-Ord Set

Because of its gorgeous silhouette, the black “Son Chidiya” cropped blazer co-ord set is a very strong and statement making ensemble. For the modern Indian wedding, this sophisticated draped skirt and the golden embellished full-sleeved jacket pair form the ideal cocktail ensemble.

The dreamy and exquisite white Anar Bagh Lehenga. This ivory raw silk lehenga has a beautiful border with the Anar Phool Motif and a golden dori kaam. The pearl-adorned tulle trail was very beautiful.
