Our engineer groom, Shekhar, and interior designer bride, Natasha, met in a meeting arranged by their families. Both families belong to Roorkee and are well known in the city. Though their meeting was arranged, it was love at first sight for both Shekhar and Natasha. By the end of a nine-month courtship period, began the chapter of an eternity of togetherness. With the blessings of Mahadev, they exchanged their vows on 15th November 2021.<\/p>\n

Wedding Planning:<\/em><\/h3>\n

The couple planned a destination wedding with only close relatives and friends. The four-day-long destination wedding in Namami Ganges Resort<\/a> in Shivpuri, Rishikesh included pre-wedding festivities like Mehndi, Haldi, Bhaat, Mandha, and Ring ceremony. These events were followed by a daytime wedding on November 15th morning and a post-wedding reception party on the 15th evening. Vidaayi was done from the bride’s residence on the 16th. Let’s dive into the details of this perfect wedding of a match made in heaven, in the paradise of India itself.<\/p>\n

Haldi, the hue of love!\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

For Haldi, the bride donned an ombre cream and yellow lehenga, while the groom wore a golden dhoti and a dapper yellow kurta and jacket. Along with the lovely lehenga, Natasha paired up aesthetic floral jewelry, including exquisite Maangtika, Gorg jhumkas, pretty haath phools, and a heavy choker and long necklace set. She looked like such a darling with her yellow eyeshadow, red lipstick, and subtle makeup, along with a minimal but elegant hairstyle. With a flowered backdrop of marigolds, the decor<\/a>\u00a0was more than excellent. All the guests followed the dress code of yellow-colored traditional outfits for Haldi. Besides these, we can’t stop admiring these cute little doggos with their matching outfits!<\/p>\n

Mehndi~ “Find your name on my mehndi etched hands..!”<\/em><\/h3>\n

Mehndi is for sure one of the most effervescent functions. Natasha decked out cream dhoti kurta and emerald green cape and our desi Dulha, Shekhar, donned a cream kurta pajama and emerald green jacket with matching embroidery for mehndi. With glittering eyes and a glamorous glow on her face, the bride looks stunning! A Maangtika, elegant gold earrings and necklace along with her pearl hair jewelry on her golden hair make her look completely breathtaking. Vibrant decor, lively music, and entertainment besides the henna-stained hands of our bride as her love-stained heart are a total delight. Oh! And how can we overlook Natasha’s awe-inspiring and flawlessly majestic mehndi design!<\/a><\/p>\n

Delightful Pre-wedding Festivities:<\/em><\/h3>\n

Pre-wedding ceremonies like Bhaat and Mandha are some other significant ones. Bhaat is a ceremony where the maternal family of the bride and groom present them with numerous gifts. This is one of the other fun and jolly occasions. Mandha is also one such occasion. A Mandha is an object that is tied to the bride and groom’s door one day before marriage and opened after the marriage. It is then kept for one year in the respective Pooja Ghars of both houses and after a year, it is immersed in the Ganges. All these ceremonies are highly enjoyable.<\/p>\n

Glam engagement ceremony and Exuberant Sangeet!<\/em><\/h3>\n

Our fairy-like bride Natasha dolled up in a powder blue trail gown from Frontier Raas and a black Giorgio Armani tuxedo for Shekhar. Sparkling more than her Tanishq diamond jewelry is the shine on Natasha’s face and the love between the betrothed couple! The transparent acrylic stage in the middle of the swimming pool is decorated with white flowers in a rustic style for the bride and groom for the ring ceremony. With this glamourous engagement, the ceremony comes the jubilant Sangeet<\/a>. Setting the stage on fire, friends, relatives, and family show off their enthusiasm and blessings. The show stopper performance of the night was that of the bride and groom. We can’t take our eyes off this overwhelming romance between these two. This #SheSha moment makes us aww!<\/p>\n

The Perfect Dream Wedding!<\/em><\/h3>\n

The whimsical wedding mandap and Jaimala stage are set up on the beach beside the flowing Ganga river decorated with pink, peach, and white flowers making the setup look ethereal with the backdrop of the Shivalik hills. Our Dulha, Shekhar flaunted in a baby pink sherwani with pink safa and a pink stole from Frontier Raas. Waiting for her Dulhaniya, Natasha who wore a peach Lehenga also from Frontier Raas, for the Jaimala. Her perfectly embroidered and embellished pastel pink lehenga<\/a> with intricacies of monuments, flowers, and leaves are what catches our eyes. Her gold bridal jewelry set complemented her attire. Their cousins were all in pastel-shaded traditional. With floral chaddar and Shlokas written on banners, Natasha was escorted to the Jaimala stage. The wedding mandap was furthermore magical, enriched with exotic flowers the set up seems like a paradise! With the grace of God and the blessings of their families, they tied their knots.<\/p>\n

This post-wedding formal party marks the celebration of the blissful union of Shekhar and Natasha. Complementing Natasha’s startling pink shaded lehenga, Shekhar decked up a peach sherwani. Their enchanted look is what allures us the most. Adorned with white flowers, a leafy backdrop, and the logo of S & N’ was their stage. These ‘Shekhar ki Natasha’ pictures give us the Happily Ever After vibes and serve as the ultimate couple goals!!<\/p>\n
